Join here: https://www.facebook.com/Hindus.Hinduism This is the most favored form of prayer to Goddess Lalithambika and it is also very secret and powerful than any other forms of Tantra or Mantra. 2] Regular chanting of Sree Lalitha Sahasranama is as beneficial as visiting religious places, taking bath in a holy river, offering food, offering materials. It is an indirect blessing to those who cannot do these kind of offerings to God. 3] Regular chanting of Sree Lalitha Sahasranama will ward off the evil from uncompleted pooja vidhis or rituals etc. It will also form a way of penance. 4] Regular chanting of Sree Lalitha Sahasranama will ward off premature death, will provide a long and contended healthy life. Fever can be cured by religiously chanting Sree Lalitha Sahasranamam by touching on a persons forehead. The number of times you chant the more benefit you are likely to get. The vibhuti used for Sree Lalitha Sahasranama archana can be applied then on the forehead, which will give much relief to fever and headache. 5] It is said that if one chants religiously Sree Lalitha Sahasra Namam keeping a glass of water (or in a vessel) in front and then pours it over the head, all sorts of troubles related to once planetary positions and from evil spirits will be warded off. 6] It is said that if a person chants Sree Lalitha Sahasranama keeping in mind a picture of Sree Lalitha Devi situated in the divine ocean which contains `Amrut' , he will be cured from any kind of disease related to poison. 7] It is said that if a person consumes ghee, which is kept while chanting Sree Lalitha Sahasra namam, he will be cured of impotency and will have children. 8]Regular chanting of Sree Lalitha Sahasra namam will ward off any kind of evil deeds or rituals (black magic) aimed at the person who chants the namam. The power derived from the chanting supersedes all other forms of prayers and the person will no more require to consult astrologers or any sorts of occultists. He will have tremendous self confidence in himself. 9] Through the regular chanting of Sree Lalitha Sahasra namam, the atmosphere will be purified. Each nerve in our body will be invigorated and subtle energies will be awakened in the person. 10]Sree Lalitha Devi will protect a person who regularly chants Sree Lalitha Sahasra namam from accidents and from the attacks of enemy and will make him victorious in all his good deeds. 11]Regular chanting of Sree Lalitha Sahasra namam will make a person blessed with word power, fame, good will etc. Particular importance should be given to chant Sree Lalitha Sahasra namam on Friday's which is very auspicious for the blessing of Devi. 12]Sree Lalitha Sahasra namam is the form of prayer that any one and every one can chant at any time and every time. It does not matter if one could not complete it. Because each of the namam in itself is powerful and will provide all sorts of benefits. It depends on what you wish and how you go about it. 13]It is said that chanting the name of Lord Siva once is as good as chanting the name of Mahavishnu a thousand times. And chanting the name of Devi once is as good as chanting the name of Siva, a thousand times. And of which Sree Lalitha Sahasra namam is the most important one to Sree Lalitha Devi herself. 14] It is very beneficial if all members of the family unite and chants Sree Lalitha Sahasra namam once in a day in the evening or whenever time permits. A family that prays together stays together. It will bring about unity, peacefulness, clear mind to perform and by thus prosperity. 15] In homes where Sree Lalitha Sahasra namam is chanted regularly there will never be any shortage of the basic necessities of life. This is the reason why the ancient Gurus would instruct their desciples to chant Sree Lalitha Sahasra namam even after initiating them into the mantras of other deities such as Lord Krishna, Lord Rama and other Gods and Goddesses. 16] It is also to be noted that by religiously chanting Sree Lalitha Sahasra namavali, we are seeking the blessings of Sree Lalithambika, who is also called Kalima, Durga ma, Devi, Parasakthi, Bhagavathi etc, who in turns is the universal mother. And how can a mother ignore her children when they are in distress or duress or troubles of any sorts? So keep utmost faith in her and start chanting. 17] Each one of the namam by itself is a powerful weapon for many sorts of day-to-day problems. •Lalitha Sahasranamam can be chanted in many different ways. In Stotram form, all 1,000 namams are separated into stotrams of a few namams each and recited in this way. In mantra form, each namam is said individually, preceded by "Aum" and followed by "Namah". When chanted in mantra form, the endings of each namam are generally changed to "e" or "yai". Mantra form is commonly used to recite Lalitha Sahasranamam during archana. In the homam form, homam is conducted by ending each namam with Swaha: Homam

Pay what you wish or download for free! http://isha.sadhguru.org/triveni/ Triveni Triveni or “three rivers” celebrates the three predominant aspects of the Devi – Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati. The album is a collection of 10 songs of varying genres depicting the different forms manifested by Devi during the Navratri time. There are a total of 7 chants and 3 songs composed by Sounds of Isha to the most revered works of Shri Adi Shankara, Kalidasa, Subramani Bharathi and others. These songs, dedicated to the three different forms of Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati, represent the qualities of fierceness, vibrance and subtleness, revealing the essence of Navratri in a musical way.The songs of Triveni are an offering to Devi in her many forms and an appeal for her infinite Grace. During Navaratri, a festival dedicated to the Divine Feminine, Devi manifests in her many forms. The first three days represent the quality of tamas, where the Goddess is fierce like Durga. The second three days are rajas, for the materially-oriented Lakshmi. And the last three days are sattva in nature, dedicated to Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge and transcendence. On the tenth day, Navaratri culminates into Vijayadashami, a day of victory over darkness. Morning Prayer to Goddess Bhagvati.. INFO: Track: Morning Mantra Shree Bhagvati Artist: Soma Singh Album: Suryodaya - Morning Mantras DOWNLOAD links: India: http://itunes.apple.com/in/album/suryodaya-morning-mantras/id544195754?at=10l9Vb&ct=YTmorning_mantra_bhagwati Rest of the world: http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/suryodaya-morning-mantras/id544195754?at=10l9Vb&ct=YTmorning_mantra_bhagwati http://www.amazon.co.uk/Suryodaya-Morning-Mantras/dp/B008LDSARS/ http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008LHR60Q http://open.spotify.com/album/7EDvhUHwwMHYYxbn2yUj1j DESCRIPTION: According to the Indian system of calculating time, the day is divided into eight prahars of three hours each. The second half of the second prahar i.e. from 4.30 A.M. to 6.00 A.M is called the 'brahma mahurat.' This is the best time for a person to engage in meditation and prayer. Those who wake up at this time are able to soak up nature's energy in order to invigorate their minds and rejuvenate their bodies. The great sage, Manu, the law giver said, "Brahma mahurate chaanu chintayate." This means that, "Man should awaken during the brahma mahurat and reflect on his dharma and its meanings as are relevant to him." He will then understand and grasp the real meaning of the scriptures, like the Vedas and the Upanishads. Early dawn is thus the most suitable time for spiritual and intellectual growth. At this time, man through prayer and contemplation, is able to experience the vastness of the supreme consciousness. Man is able to go beyond the narrow confines of his brain, but, dwell in the limitlessness of his thoughts. Those who follow this principle of getting up early and praying are able to unlock the infinity of their minds. With this objective, the great sage Adi Shankaracharya had composed special morning prayers to the eight foremost gods. These are Lord Ganesha, Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiv, Goddess Bhagawati, Lord Rama, Goddess Lalita and Lord Surya.

Get relaxing harmony of Your mind and body. This twelve syllable mantra is known as a Mukti (liberation) mantra and a spiritual formula for attaining freedom. Om namo bhagavate vasudevaya is known as a Mukti, or liberation, Mantra. It is a potent spiritual formula for attaining freedom. Consistent use of this mantra will eventually, even if over many incarnations, free us from the cycles of rebirth. In this way it mitigates Karma so we are free to make true choices in our lives. True choices, not simply reacting to desire and aversion. Om is a seed sound for the sixth, or brow, chakra and is the name of the state of existence in which the Indweller (jiva, atman, or soul) has united with the spirit of the all-pervading consciousness. 'Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya' is a mantra of Bhagavan Sri Krishna. It means literally: "Prostration to Bhagavan Vasudeva." 'Surrender to Sri Vasudeva' is implied therein. Now, the prostration, salutation, is an external symbol of the internal union. When we do namaskara to a deity in the temple, to a friend or any person, we join both the palms and bend ourselves low. This namaskara, and the joining of the palms are indicative of the feeling of union of oneself with the other. "I and you are one" -- that is prostration, that is namaskara. "Bhagavan Vasudeva, I am one with you" is a spirit of surrender, and here begins meditation on Bhagavan Vasudeva. When this mantra is chanted you have also created the requisite atmosphere in the mind for contemplation on Bhagavan Vasudeva, to begin meditation and to feel His presence. This rule applies to all other mantras, also. Adi Shankaracharya was possibly one of the great saints of his time.. After brahmopadesa, as is usual during those times, he was asked to beg alms for his lunch. One day when he went to a Brahmin house, the lady of the house was so poor that she did not have anything to give him. She searched hard and found one small fruit of gooseberry, which she gave to Sankara the boy. He was so touched by her gesture that he sang these 21 mellifluous hymns on Goddess Lakshmi, who poured golden goose berries as rain to the poor womans house. Even today it is believed that poverty would be banished by singing this hymn. 1 Angam hare pulaka bhooshanamasrayanthi, Bhringanga neva mukulabharanam thamalam, Angikrithakhila vibhuthirapanga leela, Mangalyadasthu mama mangala devathaya. 2 Mugdha muhurvidhadhadathi vadhane Murare, Premathrapapranihithani gathagathani, Mala dhrishotmadhukareeva maheth pale ya, Sa ne sriyam dhisathu sagarasambhavaya. 3 Ameelithaksha madhigamya mudha Mukundam Anandakandamanimeshamananga thanthram, Akekara stiththa kaninika pashma nethram, Bhoothyai bhavenmama bhjangasayananganaya. 4 Bahwanthare madhujitha srithakausthube ya, Haravaleeva nari neela mayi vibhathi, Kamapradha bhagavatho api kadaksha mala, Kalyanamavahathu me kamalalayaya 5 Kalambudhaalithorasi kaida bhare, Dharaadhare sphurathi yaa thadinganeva, Mathu samastha jagatham mahaneeya murthy, Badrani me dhisathu bhargava nandanaya 6 Praptham padam pradhamatha khalu yat prabhavath, Mangalyabhaji madhu madhini manamathena, Mayyapadetha mathara meekshanardham, Manthalasam cha makaralaya kanyakaya. 7 Viswamarendra padhavee bramadhana dhaksham, Ananda hethu radhikam madhu vishwoapi, Eshanna sheedhathu mayi kshanameekshanartham, Indhivarodhara sahodharamidhiraya 8 Ishta visishtamathayopi yaya dhayardhra, Dhrishtya thravishta papadam sulabham labhanthe, Hrishtim prahrushta kamlodhara deepthirishtam, Pushtim krishishta mama pushkravishtaraya. 9 Dhadyaddhayanupavanopi dravinambhudaraam, Asminna kinchina vihanga sisou vishanne, Dhushkaramagarmmapaneeya chiraya dhooram, Narayana pranayinee nayanambhuvaha. 10 Gheerdhevathethi garuda dwaja sundarithi, Sakambhareethi sasi shekara vallebhethi, Srishti sthithi pralaya kelishu samsthitha ya, Thasyai namas thribhvanai ka guros tharunyai. 11 Sruthyai namosthu shubha karma phala prasoothyai, Rathyai namosthu ramaneeya gunarnavayai, Shakthyai namosthu satha pathra nikethanayai, Pushtayi namosthu purushotthama vallabhayai. 12 Namosthu naleekha nibhananai, Namosthu dhugdhogdhadhi janma bhoomayai, Namosthu somamrutha sodharayai, Namosthu narayana vallabhayai. 13 Namosthu hemambhuja peetikayai, Namosthu bhoo mandala nayikayai, Namosthu devathi dhaya prayai, Namosthu Sarngayudha vallabhayai. 14 Namosthu devyai bhrugu nandanayai, Namosthu vishnorurasi sthithayai, Namosthu lakshmyai kamalalayai, Namosthu dhamodhra vallabhayai. 15 Namosthu Kanthyai kamalekshanayai, Namosthu bhoothyai bhuvanaprasoothyai, Namosthu devadhibhir archithayai, Namosthu nandhathmaja vallabhayai. 16 Sampath karaani sakalendriya nandanani, Samrajya dhana vibhavani saroruhakshi, Twad vandanani dhuritha haranodhythani, Mamev matharanisam kalayanthu manye. 17 Yath Kadaksha samupasana vidhi, Sevakasya sakalartha sapadha, Santhanodhi vachananga manasai, Twaam murari hridayeswareem bhaje 18 Sarasija nilaye saroja hasthe, Dhavalathamamsuka gandha maya shobhe, Bhagavathi hari vallabhe manogne, Tribhuvana bhoothikari praseeda mahye 19 Dhiggasthibhi kanaka kumbha mukha vasrushta, Sarvahini vimala charu jalaapluthangim, Prathar namami jagathaam janani masesha, Lokadhinatha grahini mamrithabhi puthreem. 20 Kamale Kamalaksha vallabhe twam, Karuna poora tharingithaira pangai, Avalokaya mamakinchananam, Prathamam pathamakrithrimam dhyaya 21 Sthuvanthi ye sthuthibhirameeranwaham, Thrayeemayim thribhuvanamatharam ramam, Gunadhika guruthara bhagya bhagina, Bhavanthi the bhuvi budha bhavithasayo.

This ancient text is actually a portion of the Markandeya Puran. This Puran contains, among other things, details about the rites and rituals for devotion to goddess Durga. Of the 134 chapters in the Markandeya Puran, 13 chapters, (chapters 78 - 90) are devoted exclusively to goddess Durga. Our sages have opined that those who wish to pray to goddess Durga as their main deity, should follow the directions given in these chapters. These thirteen chapters, along with other material that our sages have added over time, are collectively known as the Durga Saptashati. To be able to recite the whole text would not be possible given the constraint of time in this day and age. Therefore, the sages have further concluded that if one was to recite the three major prayers of the Durga Saptashati - durga kavach, argala stotra and the keelak stotra, one would get the same benefit as if he/she were reciting the complete Durga Saptashati. Accordingly, this album contains these three prayers in conjunction with an invocation prayer (mangalacharan), and a prayer in praise of goddess Durga (durga stuti). The album also contains the bhagavati stotra, a prayer for forgiveness (kshamaa mantra). and finally the famous Durga aarti, om jai ambe gauri. While Goddess Durga is worshipped throughout the year, there are two specific nine-day-periods called the navraatri, which are considered especially auspicious. These fall during the month of March-April and then in September- October. The dates vary according to the lunar calendar and can be confirmed from the Hindu almanac. It is widely believed if a person listens to, or recites these prayers during these periods he/she can get whatever boon he/she wishes for.

सम्यक्संबुद्धवैरोचनभाषितं भगवत्यार्यतारादेव्या नमस्कारैकविंशतिस्तोत्रम् The Hymn of Twenty One Homages to Arya Bhagavati Tara recited in Sanskrit by Mats Lindberg. One of the oldest and most revered Hymns to the Great Goddess and Enlightened Buddha, Noble Bhagavati Tara composed by Buddha Vairocana. The hymn is structured on the great mantra of Tara and its verses are interwoven with the syllables of the mantra. Om Tare Tuttare Ture Svaha ओं तारे तुत्तारे तुरे स्वाहा. The Hymn is read in adoration and contemplation of the Goddess, and in the supplication for her unfailing protection from the eight fears of Samsara both through Her gentle and fierce manifestations. She is in essence identical with Arya Prajnaparamita, the Noble Perfection of Wisdom, but embodies in her manifestation as Arya Tara the swift willingness to Compassionate Action inherent in that Wisdom. For a full translation and study of this text, see Willson, Martin (1996). In praise of Tārā: songs to the Saviouress: source texts from India and Tibet on Buddhism's great Goddess. Prayer to Ma Durga for her blessings. "Kavach" literally means armour. It is said that a person who recites the Durga Kavach regularly and with devotion, is protected from all ills. He/she receives great fortune, fame and fulfillment of all wishes. ........ complete lyrics: http://goo.gl/2zRIcg INFO: Track: Durga Kavach Singer: Gundecha Brothers Album: Durga Shakti ================================================ DOWNLOAD links: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *India* ► iTunes: http://goo.gl/TdGYOj ► AddKiosk: http://goo.gl/27oCMF *Rest of the world* ► iTunes: http://goo.gl/ydxu19 ► Amazon: http://goo.gl/LjjNcQ ► Spotify: http://goo.gl/hZmSoV ► eMusic: http://goo.gl/uo2IZc ================================================ IMPORTANT dates: Vasant Navratri 2015: March 21 - March 29 Maha Navratri 2015: October 13 - October 23 ================================================ ABOUT: For the devotees of mother Durga the most authentic text is the Durga Saptashati.
