Pradosha Special Mantra – Sri Rudra Abhishekam – Evening Mantras for Good Health, Wealth & Prosperity Chants by Dr.R.Thiagarajan 00:03 – Sri Rudra Abishekam Pradosha pooja is one of the most sacred and important among the poojas performed by Shivites to the Graceful Lord Shiva. In Shukla Paksha (15 moon days from new moon to full moon) and Krishna Paksha (15 moon days from full moon to new moon) the evening of the Trayodasi (thirteenth moon day) between 4.30 pm to 6.00 p.m. is called Pradosham. It comes once in fifteen moon days. Pradosha time is to pray Lord Shiva and invoke His Blessings. Praying in this time will free us from sins and gives Moksha (hence the name Pradosha). During Pradosha time, a special type of circumbulating called “Somasutra Pradakshinam. According to Hindu Puranas, the gods (Devas) and the demons (Asuras) were stirring the milky ocean to extract amritam (nectar), with Vasuki (the serpent king) as a rope. As Vasuki underwent severe scratches due to the churning, she emitted a powerful poison which is capable of destroying the world. The helpless celestials pleaded Lord Shiva to save them. In order to save them, Lord Shiva swallowed the poison. Goddess Parvati stopped the poison in Lord’s throat and it is believed that his throat turned to blue. Shiva, ( Sanskrit: “Auspicious One”) also spelled Siwa or Siva , one of the main deities of Hinduism, whom Shaivites worship as the supreme god. Among his common epithets are Shambhu (“Benign”), Shankara (“Beneficent”), Mahesha (“Great Lord”), and Mahadeva (“Great God”). Kubera Gayatri Mantra – कुबेर गायत्री मंत्र – Most Popular Chant for Wealth & Prosperity – Dr.R.Thiagarajan Chants by Dr.R.Thiagarajan 00:03 - Kubera Gayatri Mantra Kubera Gayatri Mantra: Om Yaksha Rajaaya Vidmahe Vaishravanaaya Dhimahee Thanno Kubera Prachodayath Kubera (Sanskrit: कुबेर) also known as Kuvera or Kuber, is the Lord of Wealth and the god-king of the semi-divine Yakshas in Hindu mythology.[1] He is regarded as the regent of the North (Dik-pala), and a protector of the world (Lokapala). His many epithets extol him as the overlord of numerous semi-divine species and the owner of the treasures of the world. Kubera is often depicted with a plump body, adorned with jewels, and carrying a money-pot and a club. Originally described as the chief of evil spirits in Vedic-era texts, Kubera acquired the status of a Deva (god) only in the Puranas and the Hindu epics. The scriptures describe that Kubera once ruled Lanka, but was overthrown by his demon half-brother Ravana, later settling in the city of Alaka in Sigiriya,Sri Lanka. Descriptions of the "glory" and "splendours" of Kubera's city are found in many scriptures. Kubera has also been assimilated into the Buddhist and Jain pantheons. In Buddhism, he is known as Vaisravana, the patronymic used of the Hindu Kubera and is also equated with Pañcika, while in Jainism, he is known as Sarvanubhuti. Mahakali Gayatri Mantra - Chanting This Mantra Alleviates Curses & Dispel the Ill Effects of Saturn MAHAKALI Gayatri : Om kalikaye vidmahe smashan vashiney dhimahi tanno A ghora prachodyat. Kali is one of the most famous forms worshipped in Hinduism. The root word of the term ‘Kali’ is ‘Kal’ which means time. Kali is symbolised as ‘Time’ since it is the most powerful force of destruction that will not spare anything created. Kali destroys ego and ignorance and lights the lamp of wisdom in the hearts of her devotees. Though she appears with a fierce form, she is the most compassionate one who confers the highest attainment of liberation on her children. In Hindu iconography, Kali is depicted in dark complexion with her long tongue protruded in a way creating fear. She wears a garland of skulls and dismembered arms as a symbol of destroying the identity with body, ego and ignorance. She reminds us that what is destroyed is the material body made of flesh when the spirit or Atma is immortal. The values they embody are eternal. They are as relevant today as they were thousands of years ago when they came into being. Vedic philosophies can help us cope successfully with the trials and pressures of modern life and serve as an antidote to despair. The orthodox method of learning them is from a qualified teacher. however, just listening to them can be uplifting to the soul. It is believed that they can help ward off negative thoughts, lead to atonement and deliver purity of mind, resulting in clarity of thought and success. The oral tradition of the Vedas consists of several pathas, "recitations" or ways of chanting the Vedic mantras. Such traditions of Vedic chant are often considered the oldest unbroken oral tradition in existence, the fixation of the Vedic texts (samhitas) as preserved dating to roughly the time of Homer (early Iron Age). Sri Indra Dev Gayatri Mantra - श्री इंद्र देव गायत्री मंत्र – Powerful Mantra To Cure All Diseases - Dr.R.Thiagarajan Chants by Dr.R.Thiagarajan 00:03 – Indra Gayatri Mantra Indra Gayatri Mantra: Aum Indrarajayaa Vidmahe Maha Indrayaa Dheemahi Tanno Indra Prachodayaat Indra (/ˈɪndrə/, Sanskrit: इन्द्र) is a Vedic deity in Hinduism, a guardian deity (Indā[, Pālī) in Buddhism, and the king of the highest heaven called Saudharmakalpa in Jainism. His mythologies and powers are similar to other Indo-European deities such as Zeus, Jupiter, Perun, Perkūnas, Taranis, Thor, and Odin (Wotan). In the Vedas, Indra is the king of Svarga (Heaven) and the Devas. He is the god of the heavens, lightning, thunder, storms, rains, river flows, and war. Indra is the most referred to deity in the Rigveda.] He is celebrated for his powers, and the one who kills the great symbolic evil (malevolent type of Asura) named Vritra who obstructs human prosperity and happiness. Indra destroys Vritra and his "deceiving forces", and thereby brings rains and the sunshine as the friend of mankind. His importance diminishes in the post-Vedic Indian literature where he is depicted as a powerful hero but one who is getting in trouble with his drunken, hedonistic and adulterous ways, and the god who disturbs Hindu monks as they meditate because he fears self-realized human beings may become more powerful than him. Indra rules over the much sought Devas realm of rebirth within the Samsara doctrine of Buddhist traditions. However, like the Hindu texts, Indra also is a subject of ridicule and reduced to a figurehead status in Buddhist texts, shown as a god that suffers rebirth and redeath. In the Jainism traditions, like Buddhism and Hinduism, Indra is the king of gods and a part of Jain rebirth cosmology. He is also the god who appears with his wife Indrani to celebrate the auspicious moments in the life of a Jain Tirthankara, an iconography that suggests the king and queen of gods reverentially marking the spiritual journey of a Jina. Indra's iconography shows him wielding a lightning thunderbolt known as Vajra, riding on a white elephant known as Airavata. In Buddhist iconography the elephant sometimes features three heads, while Jaina icons sometimes show the elephant with five heads. Sometimes a single elephant is shown with four symbolic tusks. Indra's heavenly home is on or near Mount Meru (also called Sumeru) Subscribe to our Indian Classical Music Channel: https://goo.gl/D2hEjg #mantra #indra #indragayatrimantra #gayatrimantra #devotional #drrthiagarajan #chants

Ratha Saptami Mantras - Aditya Hrudayam & Sri Surya Suprabhatam – Powerful Chants for Good Health & longevity Chants by Dr.R.Thiagarajan Sri Surya Gayatri Mantra: Om Aswadwajaya Vidhmahe Pasa Hasthaya Dheemahi Tanno Surya Prachodayat Powerful God Surya Mantras: 00:03 – Sri Surya Gayatri Mantra 00:28 – Sri Surya Suprabhatam 07:54 - Aditya Hrudayam Ratha Saptami or Rathasapthami (Sanskrit: रथसप्तमी or Magha Saptami) is a Hindu festival that falls on the seventh day (Saptami) in the bright half (Shukla Paksha) of the Hindu month Maagha. It is symbolically represented in the form of the Sun God Surya turning his Ratha (Chariot) drawn by seven horses (representing seven colours) towards the northern hemisphere, in a north-easterly direction. It also marks the birth of Surya and hence celebrated as Surya Jayanti (the Sun-god’s birthday). Ratha Saptami is symbolic of the change of season to spring and the start of the harvesting season. For most Indian farmers, it is an auspicious beginning of the New Year. The festival is observed by all Hindus in their houses and in innumerable temples dedicated to Surya, across India. Surya ,is a Sanskrit word that means the Sun. Synonyms of Surya in ancient Indian literature include Aditya, Arka, Bhānu, Savitru, Pushana, Ravi, Mārtanda, Mitra and Vivasvāna . Surya also connotes the solar deity in Hinduism, particularly in the Saura tradition found in states such as Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Odisha. Surya is one of the five deities considered as equivalent aspects and means to realizing Brahman in the Smarta Tradition. Surya's iconography is often depicted riding a chariot harnessed by horses, often seven in number which represent the seven colour rays of the rainbow. In medieval Hinduism, Surya is also an epithet for the major Hindu gods Shiva, Brahma and Vishnu. In some ancient texts and arts, Surya is presented syncretically with Indra, Ganesha or others. Surya as a deity is also found in the arts and literature of Buddhism and Jainism. Surya is one of the nine heavenly "planets" (Navagraha) in the zodiac system of Hindu astrology. Surya or Ravi is the basis of Ravivara, or Sunday, in the Hindu calendar. Major festivals and pilgrimages in reverence of Surya include Makara Sankranti, Pongal, Ratha Sapthami, Chath puja and Kumbha Mela. SHODASI KALYANI TRIPURASUNDARI – The Sixth Form of the Dasa MahaVidyas – For Desires Listen to this Dasa Maha Vidya Stotra - Goddess Shodasi - The Seventh Form of the Dasa Maha Vidya | Must Listen to Fulfill Wishes Chanted By : Dr.R.Thiagaraajan & Mrs.Prema Rengarajan The sixth Mahavidya is Sorasi. This is the story of Her manifestation. When Parvati left Her form as Kali and assumed the form of Gauri, Shiva addressed Her as Kali again and again. Parvati was insulted and left that place. Shiva went into His own heart and began to remember the Goddess. But without seeing the Goddess in person, He became dismayed and wondered where She had gone. At that time Narad Muni came to where Shiva was meditating. Shiva narrated this occurrence to Narad and told him that Kali had left Him. Narad was very happy to hear of the differences between Shiva and Kali. In his meditation Narad saw that Parvati was sitting in meditation on Sumeru Mountain in an inaccessible place. In order to increase the separation between Shiva and Parvati, Narad went to where Parvati was meditating and said that Shiva was entering into a relationship with another woman. It will be proper for you to stop Him. When the Goddess heard this from Narad’s mouth, She became filled with anger. In this great anger, the Goddess assumed the form of the most beautiful young lady of sixteen years, Sorasi, and presented Herself before Shiva. Seeing Her own shadow reflected upon Shiva’s chest, and thinking it to be another woman, She became even more angry, and said, “When we were married, You gave Your heart to me for my residence. How can you now give Your heart to another woman?” When Shiva heard Kali’s words, He replied, “Look closely at my heart. The woman you see in my heart is your reflection.” When the Goddess looked closely and meditated carefully, with great satisfaction She asked, “The woman that I just saw in your heart, by what name shall She be known?” Hearing Kali’s question, Shiva replied, “This new form of Yours is one of the Mahavidyas, and Her name will be Sorasi, She who manifests the sixteen. In this form you will manifest excellence!” Sorasi unites the sixteen syllables of Siva and Sakti, the Supreme Goddess of all Desires. Ardhanareeswara Stotram – Lord Shiva Songs - Sacred Chants for Good Health & Happy Married Life 00:03 – Sri Ardhanareeswara Stotram – Dr.R.Thiagarajan The Ardhanarishvara (Sanskrit: अर्धनारीश्वर, Ardhanārīśwara) is a composite androgynous form of the Hindu deities Shiva and Parvati(the latter being known as Devi, Shakti and Uma in this icon). Ardhanarishvara is depicted as half-male and half-female, equally split down the middle. The right half is usually the male Shiva, illustrating his traditional attributes. The earliest Ardhanarishvara images are dated to the Kushan period, starting from the first century CE. Its iconography evolved and was perfected in the Gupta era. The Puranas and various iconographic treatises write about the mythology and iconography of Ardhanarishvara. Ardhanarishvara remains a popular iconographic form found in most Shiva temples throughout India, though very few temples are dedicated to this deity. Ardhanarishvara represents the synthesis of masculine and feminine energies of the universe (Purusha and Prakriti) and illustrates how Shakti, the female principle of God, is inseparable from (or the same as, according to some interpretations) Shiva, the male principle of God. The union of these principles is exalted as the root and womb of all creation. Another view is that Ardhanarishvara is a symbol of Shiva's all-pervasive nature. Top 5 most Powerful Vedic Mantras for Wealth, Prosperity and Happiness – Chants that will radically improve your life: Listen to most Powerful Mantras for Wealth, Prosperity and Happiness| Dr.R.Thiagarajan | Must Listen Chants By: Dr.R.Thiagarajan Vedic Mantras: 00:03 - Mahalakshmi Mantra 01:10 - Sri Suktam Mantra 07:25 - Bhagya Suktam Mantra 09:40 - Ayushya Suktam Mantra 12:02 - Sakala Devata Bija Mantras A "mantra is a sacred utterance, a numinous sound, a syllable, word or phonemes, or group of words in Sanskrit believed by practitioners to have psychological and spiritual powers. Mantra meditation helps to induce an altered state of consciousness. A mantra may or may not have a syntactic structure or literal meaning. The earliest mantras were composed in Vedic Sanskrit by Hindus in India, and are at least 3000 years old Mantras now exist in various schools of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Sikhism In Japanese Shingon tradition, the word Shingon means mantra Similar hymns, chants, compositions, and concepts are found in Zoroastrianism,Taoism, Christianity, and elsewhere The use, structure, function, importance, and types of mantras vary according to the school and philosophy of Hinduism and Buddhism. Mantras serve a central role in tantra. In this school, mantras are considered to be a sacred formula and a deeply personal ritual, effective only after initiation. In other schools of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism or Sikhism, initiation is not a requirement. Mantras come in many forms, including ṛc (verses from the Rigveda for example) and sāman (musical chants from the Sāmaveda for example). They are typically melodic, mathematically structured meters, believed to be resonant with numinous qualities. At its simplest, the word ॐ (Aum, Om) serves as a mantra. In more sophisticated forms, mantras are melodic phrases with spiritual interpretations such as a human longing for truth, reality, light, immortality, peace, love, knowledge, and action Some mantras have no literal meaning, yet are musically uplifting and spiritually meaningful. Generally they are recited at the beginning and end of religious rituals and discourses. Shanti Mantras are found in Upanishads, where they are invoked in the beginning of some topics of Upanishads. They are supposed to calm the mind of the reciter and environment around him/her. Reciting them is also believed to be removing any obstacles for the task being started. Shanti Mantras always end with three utterances of word "Shanti" which means "Peace". The Reason for uttering three times is for calming and removing obstacles. Sankatahara Chaturthi Mantras - Sri Ganapathi Runahara & Santana Ganapathi Stotram – Mantras For Putra Prapti Chants by Dr.R.Thiagarajan Powerful Ganesh Mantras: 00:03 – Sri Ganapathi Runahara Stotram 03:32 – Sri Sanathana Ganapathi Stotram Ganesh (also spelled Ganesa or Ganesha and known as Ganapati, Vinayaka and Pillaiyar) is the Lord of Good Fortune who provides prosperity, fortune and success. He is the Lord of Beginnings and the Remover of Obstacles of both material and spiritual kinds. Ganesh can be seen as competing with his father for his mother, and Parvati is herself, in some myths, seen as casting a far too admiring look at her own son; on the other hand, one can reasonably view Shiva as opposing the apparently incestuous relationship between his wife and their son Sankashti Chaturthi is an auspicious day dedicated to Ganesha. This day is observed in every lunar month of the Hindu calendar on the fourth day of Krishna Paksha (dark lunar phase or the waning phase).[1][2] If this Chaturthi falls on a Tuesday it is called Angaraki Sankashti Chaturthi. Angaraki Sankashti Chaturthi is considered highly important among all Sankashti Chaturthi days. This is said to have started around 700 BC as an obstacle removal ritual regarding conflicting views of confidence as stated by Abhisheka Maharishi in tutoring his pupil Aishwarya while deriving due reason from the scriptures. Shri Shiva Tandava Stotram (POWERFUL) With Lyrics - Shiva Songs That Describes Lord Shiva's Power Shri Shiva Tandava Stotram (Powerful) - Shiva Tandava Stotram (शिवताण्डवस्तोत्रम्) is a stotra (Hindu hymn) that describes the Hindu God Shiva's power and beauty. It is traditionally attributed to Ravana, the rakshasa King of Lanka and devotee of Shiva. Both the ninth and tenth quatrains of this hymn conclude with lists of Shiva's epithets as destroyer, even the destroyer of death itself. Alliteration and onomatopoeia create roiling waves of resounding beauty in this example of Hindu devotional poetry. In the final quatrain of the poem, after tiring of rampaging across the Earth, Ravana asks, "When will I be happy?" Because of the intensity of his prayers and ascetic meditation, of which this hymn was an example, Ravana received from Shiva powers and a celestial sword. One of the oldest geological formations, the hill has a hoary tradition of attracting great souls seeking the truth of existence.
