Master Class: How To Organize and Program House Music DJ Sets. This is not specific to software but principle can be applied for all VST and hard drive applications such as Traktor, iTunes, Serato, Rekord Box. Here is the link to a sample template. You will have to create your own folders. This is a master class that I am giving out for free. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to follow up with an email. There have been many questions asked to me via email and other forum platforms pertaining to how I manage my music folders. I decided to create a video guide and share it with you. Remember, this is a guide for MY music and how I dj. There is no best way to organize your tunes. You will have to use your own style according to your music genres. There is no cookie cutter or easy approach to it. With the evolution of technology comes more music and subgenres. However, by using my basic principles, you will be more knowledgeable and be able to better manage your tunes based on your specific needs. You will also come to realize that your sets will be much tighter and you won't feel as "all over the place". Your mixes will be more sonically appealing. I am sure that you all have heard the saying "know your music". Well, there is so much music today and depending on the style(s) of music you play, there are so many subgenres that are popping up that it can be difficult to know each song by name or title. With this guide, you can build on it and use your own creativity.
