The Queer Kid Stuff channel discusses gender and sexuality issues and is aimed at children ages 3 to 7. While I don't have a problem with channels discussing gender or sexuality, or even targeting their content at a younger demographic, ages 3 to 7 seems a bit young. Furthermore, the content found on the channel is confusing and inaccurate. Also, who is Lindsay, the host of Queer Kid Stuff? What is her motivation? On her personal channel, she endorses a certain work that relays the idea that children are sexual beings and their innocence is a fictional concept pushed by adults and their nostalgia surrounding childhood. When I started my channel I was originally called RebelWithoutApplause and I did a bunch of videos that I've locked away in sheer embarrassment. A lot of them were influenced by the creators I was really enjoying at the time like Cinema Snob, Cyr, and a bunch of others. I figured I'd share some of these videos with you in a new series called Zane's Lost Video Archive. This first episode is a video I did about my distaste for the term "90's kids" and all the hate that modern popular culture gets. This was recorded probably a year and a half or so ago. I hope you enjoy! LIKE! COMMENT! SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE!

(1 Jan 2017) LEAD IN An exhibition of Soviet nostalgia has opened in Belarus. It comes ahead of the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution next year. STORY-LINE If you were born in the USSR (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics), this place will take you back to days gone by. From children's books to statues of former Soviet leaders this exhibition is packed with nostalgia. This museum of USSR memorabilia has opened recently in Belarus, ahead of the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution next year. For visitor Emma Galushkina it brings back fond memories of being a school girl. "There are so many wonderful things which remind me of such a warm and kind atmosphere. I remember well my childhood, school years", she says. Most of the 5,000 exhibit items were donations from the general public. From school books, tape recorders and motorbikes to statues and photographs of Lenin and Brezhnev, it's a step back in time to normal life during the Soviet Union era. Museum founder Nikolay Kurnosov says it's the mundane things that evoke the most memories. "We see such sincere and pleasant emotions which are inspired, not so much by political symbols and the history of the Communist Party and propaganda. Of course people always pay attention to simple, mundane things, which remind visitors of pleasant events of childhood and that era", he says. The museum is located in the Mogilev region in Belarus. Yet another reupload of an episode that got nibbled on by the YT bots. The changes to this posting are minimal: The end music has been tweaked and I’ve gone back and resynced the Shakey’s ad (something that managed to slide right past me the first time around). That’s about it. Original Tagline: The 13th episode of the Archive proves to be a very unlucky one for your humble host. This time, we look at some choice (well, sort of choice) local kid's shows dating from the early 1950's through the late '90's. Skipping WAY ahead in the numeration of this series, we look at the latest official Super NES release: Nintendo's new mini-Super NES, which includes 20 classic games and the shiny new ("new") release Star Fox 2. While there aren't a lot of surprises here, the Super NES mini offers a remarkably faithful and fully featured emulation experience for its price. And the games this time around are a lot less hit-or-miss than they were on the NES mini… (Note: The unit pictured in this video was provided by Nintendo for review purposes.)

(13 Jan 2017) Even as a child, Roberto Shimizu loved collecting things. So when his Japanese immigrant father opened a stationary and toy store in Mexico City in 1940, Shimizu began a lifelong quest to save and collect toys. More than seven decades years later, that youthful fascination lives on in the Antique Toy Museum, a four-story building packed with objects that transport visitors back to a nostalgic past. Tucked in the middle of the capital's historic but seedy Doctores neighbourhood, it is stuffed with Lego, superhero action figures, robots, model airplanes, trains and Hello Kitty. There are also "lucha libre" wrestling masks and old traditional Mexican toys and other playthings that are reminders of the country's once-robust toy industry that has all but disappeared following the enactment of the North American Free Trade Agreement. Shimizu still helps out occasionally, but the museum is now run by his son, Roberto Y. Shimizu Kinoshita, who is having to struggle following a congressional decision to stop allocating cultural funds for the collection. "It is very sad that once again the budgets destined for culture are the ones most punished," the younger Shimizu said at the opening of a recent Barbie doll exhibit. Future Cop L.A.P.D. is a supposed Playstation 1 classic that I've seen mentioned many times when it comes to old nostalgia-titles that people grew up with. Rarely are those discussions substantive though. That's exactly where I stand with it too: I remember loving it as a child, but not why. Sounds like a prime candidate for my Nostalgia Check series, so lets revisit this game and see if it holds up.

A playthrough of Sofel's 1989 NES game, Casino Kid. For my full review, along with screenshot archive and soundtrack, be sure to check out Casino Kid was, and still is, among my all-time favorite "gambling simulations." You start out at the "Golden Crumbs" casino with $500 in your pocket, and it's your job to make the Casino Kid the King of the Casino. Wandering around the casino in a Final Fantasy-style top-down RPG mode, you talk to customers and waitresses to get tips on different player's styles, and then you play at each table (blackjack and poker), working your way up from the bottom until you've beaten them all and taken their money. And just when you think you've done it - the King appears *cue dramatic music* It's similar to Vegas Dream in how it uses the setting to give the game a bit of life beyond static shots of tables, but Casino Kid I always felt went much farther with the presentation, and was way more successful as a result. It's a blast to play, the opponents are super goofy, and the music is surprisingly capable of making your toe tap. It's better than its sequel, and it's the best of the US gambling games for sure. This is a replacement for my original Casino Kid video. It's a new playthrough, and the video quality (and quality of playing) is substantially higher this time, so I hope you all enjoy it! ____ No cheats were used during the recording of this video. NintendoComplete ( punches you in the face with in-depth reviews, screenshot archives, and music from classic 8-bit NES games! Visit for the latest updates!
