Whether it’s rotten cheese consumed by maggots, or mysterious brownies that make you really sleepy, here are foods you’re not allowed to eat in the US Subscribe to American Eye http://goo.gl/GBphkv 6. Mirabelle Plum Don’t get caught acting suspicious around the police if you got a few of these illegal plums stashed on you! These plums you see here are grown only in the Lorraine region of France and people from the US won’t get to taste them unless they travel to western europe. You’re probably thinking, “what’s the big deal”? They’re just plums for crying out loud not an endangered species or anything. It’s somewhat of a mystery why exactly they’re banned but the answer seems to come down to money. In order to protect the financial income of the eastern province in France, most countries have agreed not to sell them. It’s a little bit similar to how we have to have the differences between Champagne and Sparkling water. Whatever the reason exactly might be, you aren’t allowed to eat them, cuz we said so! 5. Unpasteurized Milk Most of the milk we drink and the cheese we eat must go through a process known as pasteurization first before we consume it. The process was introduced by Louis Pasteur in the 1860’s and This kills the bacteria and other microbes which would be harmful for consumption . not only that but this allows for it to be stored on the shelf longer. Although some states allow the sale for raw milk 17 states have banned it. Those who are in favor of non pasteurization claim that the milk loses many of its nutrients once it goes through the process. But those who claim pasteurized milk is the way to go state that too many diseases are spread from just raw milk. In any case, it is probably best not to drink raw milk unless it’s from the mom to the offspring 4. Lazy Cakes This cakes are banned in arkansas and strangely enough, they might actually make you feel lazy. The brownies are laced with melatonin and are known to cause severe drowsiness. Melatonin is often used as an over the counter sleep supplement and typically isn’t found in our food. Rumors went on full effect when people started saying that they put some type of synthetic cannabis substance in there but in any case they will make people sleepy. Maybe people who sell them don’t realize they’re not your average brownie, and you have to kind of read the fine print to find out. 3. Pig’s Blood Cake Who on Earth would eat something that sounds this horrifying? If you guessed the Taiwanese, good job! Pig’s blood cake has been banned in the US due to sanitary reasons and whatever other reason they find is fine by me. No need to guess what the secret ingredient is with this one. It’s basically like a street food delicacy that’s made with soy broth, sticky rice and oh yeah, pigs blood! The rice is then dipped in blood and deep fried. Other ingredients might be used to coat the deep fried pig blood on a stick but once you eat it, you have to live with yourself! Supporters of the treat claim there is no sanitary issues with the preparation process but it’s still banned here! 2. Conch Queen This beautiful shellfish becomes actually pretty tasty once you open it up and eat it. The conch queen is a banned food in the US to import mostly because overfishing threatens its existence. It’s actually more like a giant sea snail which has a very sturdy shell. The caribbean is the main exporter of conch meat to the us and demand for it quite high and the US is responsible for 80 percent of the consumption of this endangered creature. Purple Mangosteen One forbidden fruit that you probably shouldn’t eat or at least be aware of is the purple mangosteen. This is a highly sought after fruit which which a delicacy in thailand must be destroyed completely if it’s found in the US! The problem isn’t that it’s a rare fruit or anything but the goal isr to keep the asian fruit fly out, which is responsible for complete destruction of some crops. The tropical species has already wreaked havoc on the state of Florida and we don’t want this thing in our country! It’s been notorious for attacking over 400 different species of fruits and vegetables.

In an age of mass consumption and instant gratification, the want to satisfy our every gastric desire often leaves us all oblivious to the truth surrounding the foods we eat. You might, in reality, just find yourself chewing on a mouthful of lies. Here are 12 things you eat that are a lie. Subscribe for more! ► http://bit.ly/BeAmazedSubscribe ◄ Stay updated ► http://bit.ly/BeAmazedFacebook https://twitter.com/BeAmazedVideos https://instagram.com/BeAmazedVideos◄ For copyright queries or general inquiries please get in touch: beamazedvideos@gmail.com Credits: http://pastebin.com/7yPgUBaM American Cheese - The bright orange cheese slices made popular by Kraft Foods, usually found inside the Cinderella of American cooking: the cheese burger; are a staple in the corpus of the U.S culinary delight known as fast food. Margarine - For decades, margarine was marketed as the healthy alternative to the seemingly life-destroying devil... butter. This, however, couldn’t be further from the truth. Margarine can, in fact, be quite harmful to the health of its consumers. Chicken Tikka Masala - Most would consider this popular dish a firm pillar of Indian cuisine, or so it’s made to seem by the restaurant and takeout menus. In reality, though, this pillar doesn’t stand quite as firmly as we may think as the dish has a rather murky history. Chicken Tikka Masala is actually said to originate from Glasgow, Scotland. That’s right, it’s a British dish, for now anyways, so long as Scotland decide to remain a part of Great Britain. Pringles - Potato chips stacked in a tube. Well, kind of. The former parent company of this popular brand claimed that the snack can’t and shouldn’t be considered as potato chips at all. They argued that the potato content of the chips in question reach only a meagre 42%. Naked smoothies - PepsiCo advertise this brand of smoothie as containing no added sugar, helping the drink keep up its façade as a health product. The reality is, however, that these smoothies are no better for your body than the most sugary of drinks. Crispy Seaweed - Certain types of seaweed are used as culinary ingredients in many coastal regions around the globe, but perhaps it’s most commonly thought of in reference to forms of Asian cuisine. Crispy seaweed, in particular, is largely attributed to Chinese cooking. Red Snapper - An Oceana org investigation, conducted in 2013, discovered that there’s a US nationwide problem with fraudulent seafood. The study shows that the popular Red Snapper fish is the most mislabelled and miss-sold fish food product throughout the united states. Oceana reported that Red Snapper are often substituted by 28 entirely different species of fish, and this happens in 93% of purchases. Meaning that there’s a very high probability of the Red Snapper you’re eating being a complete and utter fake! Rocky Mountain Oysters - A dish unbeknownst to many who aren’t accustomed to the moo-ey reaches of good ole ranch life; commonly found in regions of the U.S.A’s Great Plains, in steak houses, and in delicatessen joints around the world. One may be coaxed by the name into thinking that this dish is made up entirely of oysters gathered from the Rocky Mountain territory. Aquafina - Another PepsiCo drink, another PepsiCo fib. The label on this brand of bottled water reads across it: “pure water”. But, according to PepsiCo, the water contained within the confines of the bottle actually comes from a Public water source. Pumpkin Spice - There’s a delightful variety of spices that, when mixed together, makeup the seasonally popular pumpkin spice flavour. The commercial stuff we find laden over seemingly anything and everything throughout autumn and winter -a time abundant of pumpkin spice flavoured products – is, disappointingly, more than likely to fall short of using any real spices. Nuts - Peanuts, walnuts, pecans, and almonds are referred to as nuts only in the culinary sense. In reality, they aren’t nuts at all. Peanuts are in fact Legumes, they are dry edible seeds contained in multiplicity within pods that start to split when they’re ripe, making them closer to peas and beans than to actual nuts. Bananas - The bananas we find on the supermarket shelves and in our homes are the wonderfully edible results of thousands of years of genetic modification, meaning that they aren’t exactlyas natural as we believe them to be.

Top things Americans do that confuse everyone else! These are the confusing and weird customs of americans and things americans do that confuse the rest of the world! #5. “Hollywood Smile”-- Another place that foreigners think Americans are wasting water is at the Dentist’s office. While dental hygiene in other countries may not be as bad as it is stereotyped to be, like in England, they aren’t quite as obsessed with attaining or maintaining the perfect smile in the way that Americans have. Where Americans have been known to spend thousands of dollars on braces and whitening procedures in order to get a pearly white Hollywood grill many foreigners are content with crooked and discolored teeth as long as they aren’t falling out or making them look like Nosferatu. Most foreigners from first world nations care about their teeth, they just haven’t become indoctrinated with the intense beauty standards American society has made a part of its culture in regards to dental perfection. In many countries, having a brighter than normal smile that is unnaturally straight is viewed as superficial to the point of being unattractive or off-putting. #4. “Dining Out”-- Tipping your server and taking home leftover food. Two habits that are so ingrained in the American dining experience that they can be hard to kick, but rest assured if you try doing these outside of the US you are sure to draw confused looks and reveal your Stars and Stripes. In most Asian and European countries a service charge is either already included in your bill or it is not customary to leave a tip. In many places if you do try to tip you can offend your waiter, this is because a tip can be seen as a person having pity on their server or offering some sort of charity. In some countries giving good service is expected whereas in the United States the food industry has become a sort of meritocracy. Foreigners see this as absurd, why should a server be rewarded for something they should be doing in the first place? However, In places where tipping is insulting waitstaff aren’t ridiculously underpaid like they are in the U.S. The other habit that can draw the scoffs of onlookers at a restaurant outside the United States is asking for a ‘doggy bag’ or ‘to-go box’. In many countries, especially European ones the idea of saving a hot meal at a restaurant in order to reheat it and eat it at home is a disgusting prospect. Many dining cultures believe that the food is meant to be eaten exactly how it is prepared by the chef or cook at that moment, not to be consumed after the various sauces and meat juices congeal or have their perfect grilling or baking sullied by your microwave. A lot of the reason that Americans have developed this custom of bringing scraps home with them is due to portion sizes being generally much larger in the States than elsewhere. This may be a result of capitalist consumers becoming obsessed with getting their money’s worth causing restaurants to have slowly battled to stuff people’s gullets.

top 10 everyday things you'll probably skip from buying after knowing how it's made Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/9CwQhg For copyright matters please contact us at: david.f@valnetinc.com We live in an amazing world. You can travel pretty much anywhere you want. You can watch anything you want on TV. You can find information on nearly anything thanks to the internet. Then there’s the food and consumer goods we buy daily. In this day and age, restaurants, stores and supermarkets have combined to offer us an incredible range of products that were only a dream several decades ago. It’s probably a good thing too, considering how much our consumer culture buys. In all seriousness, as we walk through the shopping wonderland most of us don’t even give a second thought to what goes into making the various products we buy. Some of it can be pretty interesting. A lot of it, however, can just get downright disturbing and gross. Ahead there are 10 products many of us buy, use or eat on a daily basis. Unfortunately, there are some rather things that can go into making these products. In fact, some of you may be a bit hesitant to buy them the next time you’re at the store. There’s everyone’s favorite meat treat, the hotdog. From there we’ll discuss foods that use red and yellow food. So, if you like cherry ice cream or Kraft Dinner be ready to second guess your life choices. Even the plain old potato chip can have some nasty stuff hidden in it that may have you skipping the chip aisle. Processed breads and fast food desserts? Sure, we know these aren’t good for you but there’s actually something that goes into them which just doesn’t seem right. You’ll also notice that ground beef and gummy bears share a bit more in common than you’d ever want them to. You can wash that all down with a Red Bull while wearing your Canada Goose jacket. Yup, those also have a backstory that may just have you wondering if you should buy them. We’ll end it all off with castoreum, a product that’s in a lot of stuff you eat but you likely never knew what it was. Dinner’s served! Processed Food Documentary: Processed Food vs. Nutritional Needs. The human body runs on food. Once, food shortage was the major concern. After the second world war, technological advances in food production led to a new era, that was characterized by an overabundance of inexpensive food, and relatively little physical activity. In the decades that followed, other sociocultural shifts continued to contribute to the changing way we ate. Women who had previously controlled most of the average family's food preparation now entered the workforce in significant numbers. And the processed food industry began to capitalize on our need for fast, convenient food. This meant that fewer meals were being cooked at home. And since convenience foods were generally higher in calories than home-cooked meals, the average person's caloric intake increased dramatically. Maya Adam, MD, is waging a battle cry against one of America’s most critical – and challenging – public health crises of our generation: childhood obesity. *Little note* This was just my FIRST trip guys. I've been since and will go back again, I LOVE America. This is a quirky list of the observations from that first trip. -We didn't have a car which I now know is unheard of in America. -Ive learnt we were in a food desert & no it was not a convenience store it was a supermarket that simply did not have produce, I don't know the name -yes you're totally right all chaps are indeed assless, my bad but ya know it's a fun phrase to say A lot of people are asking WHY I'd go to LA and New York, well if you've seen a depiction of a place on screen almost every day of your life you're going to want to go there first. I do of course want to visit other States (and have done since) but you can only do one trip at a time and it's super expensive to go over. "Don't shoot me I'm Irish! Yum. The hamburger restaurant with a menu that boasts unhealthy foods. Fatty foods in large portions are bad for you. You might think you’ve mastered the art of eating and peeling foods, but is that really true? In honor of the pursuit of knowledge, here are ten things you've been doing wrong at dinner, specifically, foods you’ve been peeling and eating wrong this whole time and didn’t even know it. Subscribe for more! ► http://bit.ly/BeAmazedSubscribe ◄ Stay updated ► http://bit.ly/BeAmazedFacebook https://twitter.com/BeAmazedVideos https://instagram.com/BeAmazedVideos ◄ For copyright queries or general inquiries please get in touch: beamazedvideos@gmail.com Be Amazed at these top 10 things you've been doing wrong! Corn on the Cob - Corn on the cob is a summertime favorite. Some might even go so far as to argue that no barbecue is complete without this sweet, salty staple. Whatever your level of love for the golden kernel, it’s hard to deny that corn on the cob can be difficult to consume. Garlic - You might think crushing a clove of garlic under the flat edge of a knife is the fastest way to get rid of those pesky, papery layers of skin, but what if you could peel an entire head of garlic in a mere ten seconds? Mangoes - For anyone who’s ever had the pleasure of eating a mango there is no denying that it’s a tricky undertaking. Oranges - Oranges are a delicious, juicy fruit that also happens to be packed full of immune system boosting vitamin C. With that in mind, it’s hardly surprising that approximately 25 million oranges are cultivated each year in the US alone. Tic Tacs - As the popular slogan suggests, tic tacs are more than just a mint. These palpable bursts of joy come in a variety of colors and flavors from grapefruit to spearmint. Potatoes - Do you love potato salad, but hate spending a ton of time peeling and chopping? Maybe you’ve got guests on the way and you still haven’t finished the mashed potatoes? Cupcakes - Who doesn’t like cupcakes? There are few greater small pleasures in life than biting that first mouthful of frosting off the top. Chicken Wings - Chicken wings are a fan favorite of meat eaters and sports enthusiasts across the board. In the US alone there were an estimated 1.33 million chicken wings consumed during Superbowl Sunday 2017. Apples - They say an apple a day keeps the doctor away, but as it turns out you might be wasting up to 30% of each apple you eat. Peaches - There are many ways to eat a peach. You can bake it into a pie, eat it with ice cream and caramel syrup, or even take a bite out of one whole.

Everyday foods, fruit and veggies used to look totally different before we started cultivating them. But did you know they haven’t always looked like they currently do? Here are 10 fruits and veggies that looked very different before we started cultivating them! Subscribe for more! ► http://bit.ly/BeAmazedSubscribe ◄ Stay updated ► http://bit.ly/BeAmazedFacebook https://twitter.com/BeAmazedVideos https://instagram.com/BeAmazedVideos ◄ For copyright queries or general inquiries please get in touch: beamazedvideos@gmail.com Credit: https://pastebin.com/vRApKZYZ Be Amazed at these 10 fruits & veggies that looked VERY different before we started cultivating them! Corn - The evolution of corn is a great example of how we can significantly change a vegetable over time. Corn actually comes from a Mexican grass called teosinte. Avocado - The millennial's favorite fruit has gone through quite a lot of change, and its all for the better. In the wild, avocados are very small and can easily fit into the center of your palm, growing to about three inches in diameter. Peach - The peach is another example of our ancestors using selective breeding to create a bigger and tastier version of a fruit. Domesticated by the Chinese around 4, 000 B.C., the original peach was very small and resembled a cherry. Eggplant - The wild variation of the eggplant is completely unrecognizable from the modern version we have today. Eggplants used to come in a variety of shapes, but most of them were round . Strawberry - Often times, as shown in this video, humans molded fruits and vegetables to make them taste better. Tomato - We have been shaping the tomato to our own taste for thousands of years. The evolution of the tomatoes happened in two stages. Carrot - Wild carrots look nothing like the orange carrots we know today. They were found in Persia around the 10th century and were either white or purple. Cucumber - You probably wouldn’t guess that the wild cucumber is actually related to the modern version of the cucumber we have nowadays. Banana - The wild banana is quite different from the yellow snack that we have today. Originally, they were stocky and hard, filled with large and tough seeds that were spread across the fruit’s interior. Watermelon - Watermelons have actually been around for millennia and they're one of the fruits that have most drastically changed in appearance over the years.

Here’s what school lunches around the world look like. Meals for kids in different countries are truly amazing and surprising! Every country has its standards for school meals. Some schools offer convenience food and snacks for lunch, and some cook set meals for students. What do you think the most popular ingredients of school lunches are? Well, how about octopus, kimchi, or chili? Are you curious what kids eat in South Korea? What they prefer in Turkey? Some of those lunches are quite unusual. Watch and try to find your childhood meals! TIMESTAMPS South Korea 0:41 Japan 1:23 Turkey 1:55 Thailand 2:28 France 2:59 Finland 3:28 Russia 4:08 Hungary 4:34 Israel 4:53 Colombia 5:25 Italy 5:55 Australia 6:37 Chile 7:11 SUMMARY - The system of planning school meals in South Korea is one of the best in the world. Lunches are served on special trays. The two biggest sections of the tray are usually for soup and rice. Smaller sections are for salads, seafood, veggies, and fruit. - Japanese school lunches are almost the same as the South Korean ones: hot soup, rice, poultry or fish, salad, and milk. Students are not allowed to bring their food with them until they reach high school. - It's interesting that, though children in Turkey have 1 hour for lunch, cafeterias are rare in this country. So students either go home for lunch (which might be hard to do if you live on the other side of the town!) or take food from home. - Students in Thailand don't eat in the canteen, just like their "colleagues" from Japan. They are usually given soup, pork in sweet and sour sauce, rice, and a pudding wrapped in banana leaves. - Typical lunch served in the west of France looks very healthy. It is fish, spinach, potatoes, cheese, and bread. It is quite big as the French consider lunch the main meal of the day. - Finland takes school lunches very seriously. Every student is offered snacks during the morning and evening classes, as well as lunch. Children eat their lunches in a canteen where they can choose whatever they want from a large variety of dishes. - In Russia, students can have free breakfast from 9 a.m. till 12 p.m. Lunches after 12 p.m. are paid. Children sometimes have lunch at home if they live near the school. If it is a school lunch, it is usually soup, fish or meat with a side dish of rice or buckwheat, and compote. - Hungary is famous for its big portions in restaurants and cafes. Same goes for school lunches. Children have several courses, with, for example, noodle soup, baked beans with chicken, and nuts for dessert. - Israel schools have the policy of a healthy diet. The government banned fatty and sugary things from school lunches. But the thing is that children mostly bring their meals from home. - 60-70% of children in Colombia are given free nutritious lunches. Students of state schools eat one hot meal a day. Their typical meal consists of soup, rice or pasta, salad, meat, and fruit juice. - Before lunch, in the morning, children get snacks (crackers, breadsticks, fresh fruit, or homemade cookies). For lunch they get two courses: a first course is often pasta or rice with seafood or vegetables, a second course - fish, meat, or cheese. - Authorities in Australia fight against children's obesity. That's why products rich in sugar, salt, and fat are forced out of school menu. But you can find their healthier replacements such as sandwiches, sushi, corn and fruit available at any time. - Students in Chile have nice and varied lunches. An example can be a meal with rice, beef roll, French fries, salad, avocado, orange juice, and fruit in the sauce for dessert. products you won't purchase when you find out how it's made Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/9CwQhg For copyright matters please contact us at: david.f@valnetinc.com We’re back yet again with another video detailing all sorts of products you love and the disgusting things hidden away inside. Many of these products are known to be bad for you, but ignorance is bliss. That is, if you don’t know specifically what’s in it, then it’s not ‘really’ that bad. Other products here are a bit more shocking because they are assumed to be pure and healthy but contain a rather surprising ingredient. Ahead we’ll start you off with an easy one – cigarettes. Yes, you know they are horrible for your health but do you know exactly what sorts of “ingredients” are in them? Then there’s Casu Marzu, a Mediterranean cheese that is illegal in most parts of the world because it contains maggots. Oh, you read that right. Ever noticed all that canned meat on the grocery shelves? Someone’s eating that, otherwise they wouldn’t stock it. We’ll show you what’s inside. When you head out for a burger or fries it’s often fun to order a milkshake. Unfortunately we have a pretty long list of things that are in that shake that may make you think twice. Processed Cheese is a staple of the American diet. Surprisingly it contains a lot less “cheese” than you might think. If you enjoy that natural vibrant pink color of the salmon you’re about to eat, look more closely. If it’s farm-raised that color is not natural. As kids many of us enjoyed a golden and delicious Twinkie. Sure, we know they aren’t good for you but just wait until you see what’s actually in these little snack cakes. Cereal is safe, right? Sure there’s brands with a lot of sugar or food coloring, but disturbingly many popular cereals are also testing positive for high levels of herbicides. Even orange juice isn’t without its issues. Whether Minute Maid or Tropicana, those juices fortified with vitamin D have animal products in them. Finally, we’ll end off with everyone’s favorites: Doritos and Cheetos. These orange snacks are just not good for you and what’s inside may have you questioning your grocery list the next time you head out. In this episode we are exploring how to really survive, in a big way, on $1 a meal, that's $3 a day, and $21 for an entire week. I set out to figure out how it would be possible for someone to really eat, not only cheap, but still make amazing food and feel satisfied. On day one I am exploring how to shop at the market on a budget, getting the most bang for your buck and how to start prepping food for the week as well as making a few quick snacks and snagging samples and condiments from stores to help with the week. #budgeteating #3dollaraday #brothersgreeneats Check out www.brothersgreen.com for more follow us on twitter: brothersgreenbk instagram: brothersgreen snapchat: brothersgreen facebook: Brothers Green Eats

What are the best things to eat in different countries? One of the best parts of traveling is tasting local food. Each country has something very special to offer, and we always look for that authentic experience. There is no need to stick to expensive and fashionable restaurants because street food definitely represents the most affordable yet delicious dishes. “Eat like the locals,” says every wise traveler. If you want to know more about the country you’re visiting, the best course of action is to try its street food. You’ll discover food with unique tastes, served cheaply and without fuss. And many of these delicacies cost no more than $1! But where should you start sinking your teeth into all this delicious street food? TIMESTAMPS: #1. Guajolota in Mexico 0:44 #2. Pan-fried pork bun in China 1:12 #3. Khachapuri in the Republic of Georgia 1:37 #4. Gỏi cuốn in Vietnam 2:01 #5. Chapati and curry in Myanmar 2:25 #6. Empanada in Argentina 2:48 #7. Plov in Uzbekistan 3:13 #8. Bubble tea in Taiwan 3:37 #9. Turon in the Philippines 4:11 #10. Octopus in Korea 4:40 #11. Pastel de nata in Portugal 5:09 #12. Pad Thai in Thailand 5:34 #13. Dango in Japan 9:00 #streetfood #localfood #delicacies Music by Epidemic Sound https://www.epidemicsound.com/ SUMMARY: - Guajolota is the ultimate Mexican breakfast, consisting of a tamal sandwiched between bolillos. It’s practically a carb-on-carb meal in the form of a street food sandwich. - A pan-fried pork bun is a street food that fills your tummy with a yummy filling. The locals call it “sheng jian bao” or “sheng jian mantou,” and it’s pan-fried rather than steamed. - Georgians love their khachapuri so much they made 9 variations of it — Imeruli, Adjaruli, Megruli, and Lobiani to name a few. This gooey goodness is a flatbread stuffed with cheese, and it looks like a pizza without the toppings. - Gỏi cuốn is stuffed with pork, vegetables, herbs, rice vermicelli, and shrimp wrapped in “bánh tráng” (Vietnamese rice paper). It’s a popular appetizer served fresh or fried. - Simply tear off a piece of the hot chapati, dunk it into your choice of curry, and dig in. Don’t let a single drop of curry go to waste. - You can sample empanadas with meat, ham and cheese, blue cheese, humita, chicken, mushroom, vegetables, dulce de leche, and llama meat. Yup, as in this guy. - Plov’s main ingredients are rice, onions, carrots, meat, and vegetable oil. - You might have gone to famous tea houses, but it’s only in Taiwan that you can drink the real thing! Bubble tea is also called “pearl milk tea,” “boba tea,” or “bubble milk tea.” - Turon is a favorite snack in the Philippines made from sliced ripe saba bananas rolled in a spring roll, deep-fried to perfection, and glazed with brown sugar. - Luqaimat, which means “bite-sized” in Arabic, is a traditional snack made from flour and yeast. These ingredients are made into dough and deep-fried until golden brown. - If you want a taste of authentic Hungarian cuisine, you should try the cake named Kürtőskalács. It’s also known as “chimney cake,” and its shape is formed by wrapping a strip of yeast dough around a wooden cylinder. - This Egyptian comfort food is also called koshary or koshari. It’s the national dish of the country, made from lentils, macaroni noodles, rice, spiced tomato sauce, garlic vinegar, chickpeas, and crispy fried onions. - A singara has a flaky dough; a samosa is crispy. It almost looks like a triangular ball, unlike a samosa’s flattened triangle. - Dango is a sweet rice dumpling you can eat all year long. It’s a cousin of mochi as the rice flour used for dango is called “mochiko.” Subscribe to Bright Side : https://goo.gl/rQTJZz ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/brightside/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/brightgram/ 5-Minute Crafts Youtube: https://www.goo.gl/8JVmuC ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For more videos and articles visit: http://www.brightside.me/

Top 10 Plants That Can Kill You | Interesting Facts ► Subscribe: https://goo.gl/gYLyzW For copyright matters please contact us at: miniminter1992.29@gmail.com ################################ ► Website: http://vid.io/xcRS ► Facebook: https://goo.gl/G0HVYw ► Twitter: http://vid.io/xcRO ► Google +: http://vid.io/xcRM ################################ When people think about plants, they often think of the common trees, flowers, and bushes they see every day. Most don't realize the world has tons of crazy foliage growing all over the place, some of which have the ability to kill any living thing that gets too close. Who needs Triffids when we already have some otherworldly plants here on Earth? Hello and today we're talking about Terrifying plants that want to kill you Venus flytrap When exploring the world of creepy plants, people usually first think of the Venus flytrap, and with good reason. Native to North and South Carolina, these bizarre-looking carnivores like to sit and wait for their prey to land or crawl onto their leaves, which are actually toothy, gaping maws. Once the victim is in place, the flytraps clamp their mouths down and begin digesting their feast with enzymes strong enough to dissolve human flesh, according to carnivorous-plant enthusiast Barry Rice. Nepenthes attenboroughii Discovered in 2000, the Nepenthes attenboroughii, or Attenborough's pitcher plant, is a bit more ravenous than other carnivorous plants. While most meat-eating plants resign themselves to insects and arachnids, the pitcher plant craves mice and shrews, according to the BBC. Being a pitcher, the plant collects water during rains. Dendrocnide excelsa Dendrocnide excelsa, or the giant stinging bush, looks like any other plant, and that's where its otherworldliness comes from. It's learned how to camouflage itself so it doesn't stand out. Therein lies its treachery. This innocent-looking Australian plant actually possesses an incredibly painful, poisonous sting, which has been known to kill dogs and horses. Doll's eye The actaea pachypoda, or doll's-eyes, looks like a demon out of some Japanese horror movie, despite the fact it's an all-American plant. While a white flower bearing a single black berry looks and sounds innocent enough, having ten or more of them staring at you from their, on average, two-foot-tall blood-red stalk is enough to give anyone the heebie jeebies. When you add the fact that the plant is poisonous is enough to kill a human, it magnifies the plant's demonic nature. Drosera capensis The drosera capensis, or Cape sundew, is what you get when you cross an octopus with a plant and put its stomach on the outside. Strychnos nux-vomica It should come as no surprise that the strychnine tree is poisonous. However, most may be surprised to learn just how toxic the strychnos nux-vomica is. It actually contains two poisons. Christmas Rose According to legend, the Helleborus niger—or Christmas rose—came into being a very long time ago, after a little girl cried because she had no gift to give during the Nativity.

In this video I’m taking you on a full burger review comparison between In-N-Out and Five Guys, two burger chains with extremely loyal followings. In-N-Out Burger I ordered the Double Double and extra crispy fries. Now to keep things consistent for the review, I couldn’t go all crazy with their secret menu of toppings, so all I ordered was extra onions. Prices - Double Double - $3.85, Extra crispy fries - $1.80 The Double Double from In-N-Out is indeed extremely tasty and salty and it has an amazing balance of tastes and everything goes together in such harmony. However, after finishing the Double Double I walked away still quite hungry. Five Guys Next we drove over to Five Guys, luckily just a 5 minute drive from In-N-Out Burger. Again, I kept it pretty simple and just ordered their cheeseburger all the way, and a side of regular fries. You’ll notice immediately that the prices are twice as high as In-N-Out, however, we’ll find out that their burger weight probably twice as much as well. Prices - Cheeseburger - $7.99, Fries - $4.29 The Five Guys Cheeseburger is heavy and dense, and they already press down the bun for you, so it’s not fluffy at all. The ingredients inside are great, and I especially enjoyed the mushrooms inside. The burger is definitely not as salty as In-N-Out, however it tastes better quality. VERDICT: It sort of depends on what mood you’re in, and you do have to take into account that Five Guys is twice as expensive as In-N-Out - so you could eat two Double Doubles for the same price as one Five Guys cheeseburger. I think the In-N-Out Double Double is tastier, possibly because it’s saltier, but the Five Guys burger tastes fresher, more natural, and a little more home-cooked styles. Overall, I would choose Five Guys more often than In-N-Out Burger. That’s my final verdict. What about you? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below! For example, did you know Canada has two official languages (English and French)? Guess how many official languages America has. If you enjoy Pandora and Spotify, don’t go to Canada. Licensing restrictions will prevent you from enjoying them. Also, Americans are more confrontational than Canadians. Again, these differences are not necessarily a bad thing, just a different way of viewing things such as government. Canadians tend to trust their government more than Americans trust theirs (then again, can you blame us). 25 Little Known Facts About Native Americans | List25 Want more? Check out the History Playlist: http://bit.ly/1UtMv7l If you like this video subscribe to List25: http://bit.ly/1rPhSQH Everybody knows that before Europeans arrived on the shores of America, it was the Native Americans that dominated the continent. They lived in tents and hunted for their food. Everything was fine and then the Europeans showed up and they shared their food and that's why we have Thanksgiving and then the Indian tribes just sort of...went away. Or they walked on some kind of tear trail or something. And then Europeans colonized the New World and everything was great. That's about the extent of knowledge that an average person has regarding the Native American people. Of course, as with most of the things you know (or think that you know), it is no where near that simple. The history of Native Americans is a drama as complicated and nuanced as any you have ever heard. Many of the over-simplifications you heard about in school don't do justice to a period of time that lasted thousands and thousands of years. Entire empires and nations rose and fell within the Americas. Some cities in Central America rivaled the greatest civilizations of the Middle East. And when Europeans came, the relationships between them and the natives was complicated to say the least. These are 25 little known facts about Native Americans. Women, however, were allowed to fire the counselors at any time Benjamin Franklin actually thought that the Iroquois Confederacy had a model of government that the colonies could emulate The bald eagle on the US shield is actually an Iroquois Confederacy symbol The Choctaw, Cherokee, Creek, Chickasaw, and Seminole tribes were seen as being more civil by the Europeans because they had a similar social system (planned villages and farms) And more...
